TinyBrains enters its final phase

Last week, the TinyBrains Consortium gathered at ICFO for a general meeting as the project transitions into its final phase. The event brought together all partners to set the course for the months ahead.

The meeting began with a focused session on exploitation strategies, where partners shared their visions for the future of TinyBrains’ technologies. Discussions revolved around potential pathways for commercialization, the broader impact on healthcare, and the alignment of research outcomes with societal needs. The second session focused on neuromonitoring and auditory stimulus studies, analysing the latest data available. Partners also discussed the findings in depth exploring opportunities for high-impact publications to share these innovative results with the scientific community.

After the meeting, the team took some time to enjoy a guided tour of the historic Castelldefels castle, a 10th-century fortress that presides over the town’s hilltop.

In the upcoming months, partners will focus on continuing the clinical measurements with the latest TinyBrains prototype, which integrates fNIRS, DCS and EEG, recently transferred to the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.

Stay tuned!
