We monitor the neurovascular unit simultaneously by measuring cerebral hemodynamicsoxygen metabolism and electrophysiology using:

  •  Diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) probing the tissue at 785 nm with a sampling frequency of 0.62 Hz.
  •  Functional near-infrared diffuse spectroscopy (fNIRS) working at 660 and 850 nm with a sampling frequency of 1.88 Hz.
  • Electroencephalography (EEG).

Our device provides concomitant measurements using fNIRS and DCS along with EEG through a probe. The headcap is a bilateral configuration with a total of 6 Sources X 12 Detectors for fNIRS and fDCS, and 8 EEG channels that can be freely positioned.
